Even though Samsung is the most successful handset manufacturer in the world, it seems like if their Android tablet division hasn’t met the team from the Smartphone department yet. We’ve got a ton of good Samsung Android tablets, but none of which we could call great. Now, that’s not stopping Samsung from creating some disruption in other markets as they’ve just teased a new Windows 8 tablet to be announced at IFA 2012.
Now what makes this tablet interesting, is that just as we saw Sony’s leak of the Vaio Duo 11, this is yet another convertible tablet. We’re still not sure if it’ll run Windows 8 Pro or RT, but judging by the lack of a stylus in the teaser art, I’d bet for more of an RT focus for this device. We do know that Samsung is also working on a Windows 8 Series 5 Hybrid tablet, but it’s hard to know if both products are the same thing just yet.
Stay tuned as our team unveils the goods in the next couple of days at IFA.
