What’s better than a great Android smartphone? A great Android smartphone covered in bling, of course, so that it can easily display your social status to people around you! That is exactly what the Samsung Galaxy S II Crystal Edition is – tailored with the female auditory in mind, 129 Swarovski crystals sparkle on its back cover while the plastic is covered using some kind of a premium material reminiscent of leather or suede.
There’s nothing new under the hood, however. The Samsung Galaxy S IICrystal Edition is powered by the same dual-core Exynos processor, on its front resides that familiar, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, and the main camera is of 8 megapixels.
Interested in getting one? Well, you better live in (or close to) Germany then because that is where this limited edition Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone will be released in October. Pricing is set at 599 euros (about $750), which isn’t enough to qualify the device for our list of 10 expensive luxury smartphones, but it is still a considerable amount for a handset that came out over a year ago. Samsung will show off the Crystal Edition Galaxy S II at IFA 2012 in Berlin.
