August 29 is the date to circle in your calendar for those interested in the official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S III if we are to believe the rumors that claim the refresh will shortly follow the IFA Unpacked event next week. We’ve already seen Jelly Bean ROM leaks and even the T-Mobile variant got its fair share of official ROM leak excitement.

Just five days before the Unpacked event a new Android 4.1 ROM has been leaked. The last one was build I9300XXDLH4 as of August 14 and this latest one seems to bump the version numbers to I9300XXDLH7, as of August 24. There is no changelog to accompany the leak but given the proximity of the rumored roll-out date it is safe to assume that this leak is very close to what Samsung will be officially pushing out to phones soon. If you’re brave, follow the source to grab it after reading the instructions and feedback.
